I offer holistic individual, family, couples/relationship, and group therapy. Together in our work, we will use various elements of different theories depending on your needs, past work in therapy, presenting issues and current challenges. With all clients, I practice from a client-centered, trauma informed, and social justice perspective.
I have a Masters in Social Work from the University of WA and have been practicing clinical therapy since 2014.
Healing and caring for ourselves is hard work. Sometimes painful, often fulfilling, occasionally tedious, it is a necessary part of being open to the experiences that life has to offer us. Therapy is one way to find support in healing from trauma, managing our health, and discovering and practicing new ways of caring for ourselves. As Audre Lorde wrote, "Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare." This work is important, both individually and collectively, and I am here to help you with it.
I have trained in the Gottman Method of couples counseling as well as Lifespan Integration Level 1. I am kink-aware and welcome poly and non-monogamous relationships in relationship therapy.
I am not currently paneled with any insurance companies but will work with you toward reimbursement if your insurance plan offers it. I offer a free 20 minute phone session for new clients.
