Olympia has been home for most of my life. I came to this profession by way of my own life struggles and path toward growth and wholeness. I enjoy working with others on living a more authentic and connected life. Areas of speciality include trauma/PTSD, sexuality and gender identity, body image / eating disorders, social justice issues, infertility, pregnancy loss, and adoption. I also work with couples on increasing intimacy, and building communication and conflict management skills. My clinical experience has included working with a diverse adult population in a community mental health setting, and supporting street dependent and LGBTQ+ youth. When not in the office, I enjoy being outside, and spending time with my partner and two children.
I earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the Evergreen State College where I focused on multicultural counseling, social justice work, and community psychology. Following that, I entered the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Antioch University Seattle and was awarded a Masters Degree in March 2016.
